Position: Director of Sales
Responsibilities:
- Lead and Motivate: Inspire and manage the sales team to improve customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Strategic Planning: Design and implement strategic sales plans to reach annual sales goals.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate lasting relationships with clients to enhance customer loyalty.
- Sales Objectives: Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
- Reporting: Draft detailed and accurate sales reports to inform upper management of progress.
- Customer Understanding: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and goals.
- Market Analysis: Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to set competitive selling prices.
- Training: Establish a sales training program to onboard new employees effectively.
- Performance Assessment: Regularly meet with sales managers to assess company performance and strategize improvements.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the trade show or events industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in marketing techniques and best practices.
- Project Management: Ability to manage various projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
